Historique :	Ensemble homogène mais incomplet. A l'occasion du couronnement canonique de la statue de Notre-Dame des Dunes en 1903, les dunkerquois donnent près de 400 bijoux qui sont confiés à l'orfèvre parisien Mellerio. Celui-ci récupère les pierres et le métal précieux et fabrique un ensemble comprenant, pour la Vierge, une couronne, un sceptre, un pendentif et pour l'Enfant Jésus, une couronne. Le pendentif a été volé dans les années 1970 (?), il représentait le monogramme AM en or, platine, saphir et diamants, suspendu par une longue chaîne en or dont le fermoir était constitué d'une pièce de 10 Francs des états pontificaux à l'effigie de Pie IX.
