Historique :	Un orgue est installé à l'église de Volckerinckove en 1840-1845 mais reste inachevé. Il n'existe pas de documents d'archives permettant de connaître l'origine de l'instrument ni le facteur qui l'a réalisé. Peut-être est-il l'oeuvre d'un facteur d'orgues local, tel que Charles Louis Neuville, de Rexpoëde, ou Auguste Renard, du Vieux Berquin.
