Précision_sur la representation :	Autour de la tombe d'un soldat mort pour la France sont rassemblés ses parents, sa femme, son fils. Une figure féminine drapée de noir (la France en deuil ?) invite la jeune femme à tourner son regard vers le ciel où apparaît le Christ sacrifié, porté sur les genoux de sa Mère.
